Some snippets from my sketchbook.

Some research i have been doing and 'mind mapping'. I've been looking at the colouring in Romanticist paintings and have found that my initial sketches look quite Kandinsky-esque, weird as i never looked at this, however this could be influenced from the Bridget Riley exhibition i have been to see at BMAG

Some initial sketches here as well, i think they have started out similar to how my hybrid project ended...perhaps this is a style that suits me?

Each individual image you see will represent one note of the song...might help you picture it a little better. I'm pleased with how they look so far, i think they will be really effective when they are made digital, given some amazing colours. More to come.....
